Onkyo – Kyoto Cultural Center

This deck is dedicated to the Kyoto Cultural Center – Music Culture Association (京都文化センター音楽文化協会) and its promotion of musical culture in Kyoto.
The card back features an illustration of an elephant musician, with the abbreviation 音協 (Onkyō) displayed on the music stand.
“K.C.C. Onkyo” is not the name of a company, but refers to the Kyoto Cultural Center and its Music Culture Association (音楽文化協会).

The upper part of the card back features a quotation attributed to the French poet Paul Verlaine (P. ベルレーヌ):
「なによりも まず音楽 さらに なお音楽 つねに音楽……」
“Above all else, first music, and still more music, always music……”
