Sailor Moon (TV series)

Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン, Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn) is a Japanese manga series by Naoko Takeuchi published from 1991 to 1997 in Nakayoshi magazine.
This playing card deck refers to the Sailor Moon TV series, first aired in Japan on TV Asahi, from March 7, 1992, to February 8, 1997, as stated on the plastic cover: “1992.3 ~ 1997.2”, and dubbed all around the world.
The writing “oshioki yo” on the joker refers to the famous phrase pronounced by Sailor Moon “Tsuki ni Kawatte Oshioki Yo”, “In the Name of the Moon, We’ll Punish You!”.
